By jove! Have I got it?

Continuing from previous post,
I think so ... do you?

This picture should explain what I was trying to achieve, i.e. getting the rings to overlap in the same direction all round.

Now, can I tat this again? hmmmm .......
Karen Cabrera's video showing how to do this is here.

  5. I believe you have - got it, that is.

Now I'm thinking of seeing what kind of linked rings I could make and what could I DO with them...

  8. Oh dear, this is so funny. I couldn't get the same effect the second time I tried. Could this be what Fox meant by an accident?

Thank you for all the encouragement. I have to keep on trying, LOL.

  10. I think this is perfect! You may feel better to know that I can't get past the third ring! I'm glad Karen confirmed that knowing what direction you're headed is the crucial part. I'm finding that using variegated thread helps me figure out where I am, but I'm still struggling, and my wrist is sore, so I have to stop for awhile! Frivole is forging ahead beautifully, and I hope she can give us some tips!

  11. The rings look beautiful. I tried it too using Karen's video. Even though I got the rings to interlock, I think one of the rings was not in the right direction. What technique did you use to have them all in one direction. I would have never bothered to look if I did not pay attention to your post.

  12. How? (LOL) I fear it looks much easier than it really is.
